Hetalia x Reader - Is this a dream? Part 4 - Shattered History

"What do you mean by what am I?" I asked. Clearly, I was not expecting this to happen.

"Like I said two days ago, aru. Before we took you here." replied Yao.

He has to be joking right? The thing he said...

"Calm down, aru! We just wan't you to come with us! Princess, you are badly needed!"

It cant be true! Seriously, I lived in an apartment next to this really annoying two year old. I can't possibly be a.... princess.

"I'm a... princess?"

"Yes you are." said Francis.

"And I bet you want to know our names no-" I cut Alfred mid sentence

"No, I don't need to know because I already do."

They stared at me with shock.

"Y-you do?" Alfred asked.

"Yes. And no, Terra did not tell me your names [1]."

"Then how on Thenkast would you know our names?!" asked Alfred.

"I just do, okay?!" I was getting impatient by the second.

I just wanted to go home and return to my normal life... didn't I? I did not want all of this to happen... did I? I feel so confused. Is there not anything that can relieve me? A ray of hope? a hint maybe? Something to help me with my situation now. The men that I fangirled were standing before me. I adored every single one of them. Yet, I felt something go down my heart. It didn't seem right at all. This is a dream right? I could wake up any moment now and forget all this. But... It seemed so real, so life-like...

"I...What am I doing here?" I said slowly, taking a seat on the bed.  

"Princess, Veritia needs you. Heck, the whole Pathorsam galaxy rests on your hands." explained Ludwig.

"What are those places?"

"You're in Thenkast now. It's the names of the nations and Phatorsam is where the planet Thenkast is. We are the Royal Guardians, we are here to guide you all the way."

"What princess am I?"

"You are the Fallen Princess of Veritia. You had one hell of a history back then, the most gruesome one ever recorded if I may say so myself."

"Wait, please. I'm not getting this at all. Please explain it to me from the start."

They all talked by turns. Explaining everything to me...


My History...

I am the Fallen Princess of Veritia. My real name was Princess _____ Ambernoble. (Sorry if it doesn't suit your name) My real parents were the King and Queen of the Phatorsam cycle. They have ruled for over 7 cycles, until the day of Suffering and Pain. My father's name was King Darwin Ambernoble while my mother's name was Queen Farren Ambernoble. According to the Royal Guardians, they loved me so ever much. It happened one late night. Me and my parents were getting ready to bed. I slept soundly while my parents were in the Study Room, discussing some important matters. Then a stranger came and demanded that I should be handed over to them. Of course, they did not accept. A few days later and the palace was then set on fire. The King and Queen did not survive, and their child is said to had vanished. That's according to legends that is...


My Fake Parents...

My mom and dad never told me where they found me. All they told me that I was adopted. But I did hear them say something about the doorstep. Could that be where they found me? It's obvious to know that I'm adopted. I don't have the same eyes and hair color as them... I'm different...


About Me...

A Princess they say? Could it be that I have finally returned? And what is my purpose here? I am to vanquish them? What IS them anyway? I am currently at Thenkast, this world's capital. The Royal Palace as they might call it. Shouldn't I be at Veritia? Shame though, they didn't explain why the Pathorsam galaxy rests on my hands, whatever that means...


The Royal Guardians...

It's obvious right? These men before me are the Guardians. Legend has it that they would be able to get me back here. They are to keep this world in balance.


"So... There you have it. I hope that we've explained it to you thoroughly."

"Yes... I kinda understand. So, I should be at Veritia right? That is where my name 'Fallen Princess of Veritia' came from right?"

"Oh no, Princess! It's dangerous in Veritia! 'They' currently live in the ruins of your palace!" They gasped.

"Then... I stay here in Thenkast?"

"Yes, Princess. It's currently the safest place you can go."

"Okay then."

"Terra will be escorting you from now on. She know's her way around here."

"Sure."

I stood up to go to erm... a room where I could stay. Terra was currently waiting outside. She greeted me with a warm smile and asked

"Hello Princess! Where do you want to go now?"

"I would like to go to the room that I may stay, thank you." I smiled back. Terra seemed like a nice woman. She nodded and walked me to my room. We had a cheerful conversation along the way. When we got there, she said

"Well, here you are Princess. Have a nice day, and don't hesitate to call me when you need something." And then she left.

The room was absolutely wonderful. It would fit the whole 16 century stuff like that. I plopped myself on the bed and sighed.

"This is going to be one hell of a day..."

Meanwhile in the ruins of the Veritia Palace...

"So, the Princess has finally returned huh? Well what a surprise. You've been a good and loyal servant, Lii, make sure you keep an eye on her." Said a cold female voice.

"Yes, Mistress. I will do what is necessary."
